I am new to this practice and this is the first time I have phoned to book an appointment. The phone line is constantly engaged from 8am and when you do get through half an hour later you are told there are no appointments left and to phone again tomorrow. I told the unhelpful receptionist that it was not urgent and could I book for later in the week and was told that you have to phone every day at 8am to get an appointment through triage. How can I get an appointment at this practice if you can never get through? It is ridiculous! Am I going to have to resort to using A&E for a routine problem? What a waste of NHS money. I have no other alternative practices to attend so I am stuck.
Probably the worst doctors I've ever known in my life, having to wake up at 7am to get a chance to see the doctors and after an hour of being told the line is busy and you finally get through you're told you have to call again tomorrow utter joke.
Absolutely shocking! The reception staff are unhelpful and act as if their Drs! Tried calling(60+), straight to answer machine.
Waited 20 minutes to speak to the receptionist and when I did she couldnt have been more unhelpful. I wanted to get my son seen by a doctor after a fall on his arm. The receptionist said they couldnt help with this and I should take him to A&E. Her tone and general attitude was diabolical. If they were privately run they would have gone out of business years ago. Unfortunately one has no choice but to put up with this consistently substandard service.
Great if you don't mind waiting for over 2 weeks for an appointment with a locum. Called solidly this morning from 08:00 to 8:25 and received engaged tone, then advised at 8:25 that all available spaces for today had already gone and to "try" again tomorrow. Two surgery sites, one receptionist and absolutely no patient care whatsoever. Also stopped accepting Pharmacy2U prescription orders. More evidence of tax payers money being wasted by the NHS.
